VTT Wastes No Time in Putting their New Newark Location to UseRandy Mitchell
VTT acquired their new Newark location on July 8, and, as you can see from the picture, wasted no time in using the valuable space to complete the final steps on one of their big projects prior to shipping it out to their valued customer. V Technical Textiles, Inc. understands and respects what this structure was previously and the role it played in the community. Some of the company officers and employees attended school at the now former Saint Michael School, and the goal of the renovations and changes to the building will still include many pieces of its valued history.
While VTT is still evaluating most of the space to find out how they can make the best use of this excellent facility, they are also currently using some parts of the structure to complete projects already in the works. This new space will certainly give VTT some valuable “elbow room” that they’ve needed for a long time, at the same time allowing them to “centralize” their business location, solving logistical and staffing issues that have arisen over the years as the company grew in size.
VTT had the good fortune to acquire an existing structure that is in a central location in Newark, allows the company to remain in New York State, and gives them lots of added potential as the company continues to grow. The structure of the building is sound, which allowed VTT the opportunity to move into an existing structure that could meet their space and design needs without the need to build a new structure from the ground up. VTT looks forward to adding a number of new jobs to the area along with this expansion as the company continues its growth. The remodeling will take a number of months to finish, but VTT looks forward to using the space actively from now until the finalization of construction.
